Terms of Service
Last updated 25 August 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of futureline.ai and the services offered through it, including our course platform, enquiry forms, and the public FL Lab demo tools. FutureLine is a company established in the Sultanate of Oman providing AI consulting, custom application development, and training. Please read these terms carefully — they set out what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing futureline.ai, creating an account, enrolling in a course, submitting an enquiry, or using any of our demo tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms cover your use of the website and the course platform. Consulting engagements, custom application development, and private training delivered to a client are governed by a separate written agreement between FutureLine and that client; where such an agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement takes precedence for that engagement.
In these terms, "we", "us", and "FutureLine" refer to FutureLine; "you" refers to the person using the site.
Accounts, Eligibility and Security
You need an account to enrol in a course or access course material. You may register with your name, email address, and a password, or sign in with a Google account where that option is enabled. You must provide accurate information and use an email address you control. If you are under 18, you may only use the platform with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
Passwords must be at least six characters. We store passwords hashed and never in readable form, but a six-character minimum is a floor, not a recommendation — choose a strong, unique password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Tell us at flservices.ai@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. Do not share your login, and do not use another person's account.
Acceptable Use
Use the site lawfully and reasonably. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, administrative area, or part of our systems; probe or interfere with the platform's security; scrape or bulk-download content; or circumvent the rate limits we apply to registration, enquiries, checkout, and the demo tools.
You must not upload or transmit material that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, or designed to disrupt the service. You must not use the platform to harass others, to misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or to resell or redistribute access to material you obtained through it.
We may investigate suspected misuse and take any action we reasonably consider appropriate, including restricting features, suspending accounts, and reporting unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
The FL Lab Demo Tools
The FL Lab video effects demo lets anyone upload a short video clip and apply one of a fixed set of visual effects. No account is required. Uploads are limited to 50 MB, must be a video file, and the processed result is trimmed to the first 30 seconds and returned as an MP4. Requests are rate-limited per IP address.
Only upload video you own or are authorised to use, and that contains nothing confidential, sensitive, or personal to someone who has not agreed to it. Do not upload material that is unlawful, infringing, or depicts a person without their consent. The demo is provided for illustration; it is not a production service.
Processed files are written to a location on our server that is reachable by anyone holding the generated link. We do not index or publish those links, but we do not treat them as secret. We remove files from time to time and give no undertaking to retain your output — download anything you want to keep. Do not use the demo for anything you would be unwilling to have accessible by URL.
Course Enrolment and Access
Courses may be delivered online, in person, or as a hybrid, and may run as a live cohort with set dates, a one-off workshop, or a self-paced course you take at your own speed. The course page states the format, level, duration, and, where relevant, the schedule and seat capacity. Some courses have a limited number of seats, and enrolment closes once they are filled.
Free courses enrol you immediately. Paid courses require payment and approval before access is granted, as described in the next section. Once enrolled, you can access the course lessons, videos, resources, and quizzes from your dashboard, and the platform records your progress through the material.
Enrolment is personal to you. Access is for your own learning and may not be shared, transferred, or resold, and course materials may not be redistributed. Course content and schedules may be updated or corrected over time.
Paying for Courses, Refunds and Cancellations
Paid courses are currently purchased by bank transfer only. When you choose to enrol, the site displays the transfer instructions and records your enrolment request as a pending order. You then make the transfer yourself through your own bank. Our team checks that the funds have arrived and either approves the order — at which point your enrolment is created and you receive a confirmation email — or declines it and notifies you. Access is not granted until that manual approval happens, so allow time for it.
We do not currently accept card payments. The card option shown on course pages is marked "coming soon" and is disabled; no card details are collected, stored, or processed anywhere on this site. If that changes, we will update these terms and the checkout accordingly. Prices are shown on each course page, and where a discounted price is displayed, that is the amount payable.
Refunds are handled manually. If a course is cancelled by us, or you are charged for a course you were not enrolled in, contact us at flservices.ai@gmail.com and we will refund the amount paid. For requests to withdraw from a course you have enrolled in, contact us before the course start date and we will consider the request in good faith, taking into account how much of the material you have already accessed. Live cohort and workshop dates can shift; if a date changes materially, we will tell you and you may request a refund or a transfer to a later cohort.
Instructor Content and Approval
Instructors with an instructor account can create courses and lessons on the platform. All instructor-created courses require administrative approval before they can be published: a newly created or edited course returns to a pending state and cannot be made public until it has been approved. Approval may be refused, and a reason given.
Instructors are responsible for the accuracy, originality, and lawfulness of the material they submit, and confirm they hold the rights necessary to publish it. Our review is an editorial and quality check; it does not transfer responsibility for the content to us, and approving a course does not mean we have verified every claim in it.
Where an instructor is entitled to a share of course revenue, the applicable commission rate is recorded on their account and payouts are calculated from completed orders. Payouts are arranged and paid outside the platform. Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship between FutureLine and an instructor.
Intellectual Property
The website and everything we put into it — text, design, graphics, 3D scenes, animations, code, logos, the FutureLine name and branding, and the course materials we produce — belongs to FutureLine or to our licensors, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Enrolling in a course gives you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to view and use the course material for your own learning. It does not give you ownership of anything. You may not copy, republish, record, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content, or use our name or branding, without our written permission.
You may share ordinary links to public pages on our site, and use short quotations with attribution.
Your Content and the Licence You Grant
You keep ownership of everything you submit: enquiry messages, profile details and bio, videos you put through the demo tools, and, for instructors, the courses and lessons you author. We do not claim ownership of your material.
To operate the service, you grant FutureLine a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, process, adapt for formatting and delivery, and — where the content is intended to be public, such as a published course or an instructor profile — display your submissions. This licence exists only so that we can host and deliver the service, and it ends when you remove the content or your account, except where we must retain records to meet a legal or accounting obligation.
You are responsible for having the rights to whatever you submit, and you must not upload material that infringes someone else's rights. If you believe content on our site infringes your rights, contact us at flservices.ai@gmail.com and we will investigate.
Third-Party Links and Embedded Video
Course lesson videos are typically hosted on third-party platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo and are shown on our site through embedded players. When you play an embedded video, that provider may set cookies and receive data about your visit under its own terms and privacy policy — not ours.
Our site also links to external websites and social media accounts. We do not control those sites, do not endorse them by linking to them, and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of any third-party site or service is between you and that provider.
We rely on third parties for infrastructure such as hosting, database services, transactional email, and authentication. Their involvement is described in our Privacy Policy.
Service Availability and Changes
We aim to keep the site available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or events outside our control, and features may be slow or temporarily disabled.
We may add, change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the site — including courses, lessons, demo tools, and pricing — at any time. Where a change materially affects a course you are already enrolled in, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and to offer a fair alternative.
The FL Lab demo tools in particular are experimental and may be modified or removed without notice.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The site, the course platform, and the demo tools are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
Course material, articles, and any automated course recommendations are provided for general educational and informational purposes. They are not professional, legal, financial, or technical advice for your specific situation, and we do not guarantee any particular learning outcome, certification, career result, or business result.
Output produced by the demo tools is provided without any warranty as to quality, suitability, or fitness for any use, and should not be relied on for production work.
Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by Omani law, FutureLine and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of the site — whether the claim is in contract, tort, or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims connected with the service is limited to the amount you actually paid to FutureLine through this website in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or OMR 50, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
You agree to indemnify and hold FutureLine harmless against claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, content you submit, or your infringement of a third party's rights.
Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the site at any time and may ask us to close your account by emailing flservices.ai@gmail.com. Closing your account ends your access to any courses you are enrolled in.
We may suspend or terminate your account, or restrict your access to part of the service, if you breach these terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud, non-payment, or misuse, or if we are required to do so by law. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, the licence you grant us, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law — continue to apply after your account ends.
Governing Law and Changes to These Terms
These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them, or out of your use of the site, are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. The courts of the Sultanate of Oman have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
We may update these terms as the service develops or as the law requires. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the "last updated" date at the top will change. Where a change is significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users by email or through the site.
Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the service and, if you wish, ask us to close your account.
